My experience as an Intern

What I did
"It's one of the best companies for millennials! "
QuadX is such an amazing company. It's not like any other company you intern at. They gave me tasks as if I was an employee already.
At the 1st day, we were all advised our internship would be different. The company has set goals and key challenges for each intern.
I was assigned in the Operations Department under Rider management. I got to visit different hubs and met lots riders.
MY PROJECTS
The company has a different approach in taking care of their riders and clients. They made a rider partner model where each rider would earn based on their productivity. It's actually letting them earn 3-5x more compared to the minimum wage!
Now.. since they company is rendering their services, they want to make sure they are well taken care.

The company has set different engagement programs and company partnerships to create a community for them.
And this is what I had to do for my internship. I was assigned to study and evaluate the needs of the riders to improve their Kaper-X.
To accomplish this task, I had to do a nationwide survey and present multiple presentations on how to take action on the results from the survey.
Accomplished this by using google forms.
It was a success! I was able to get 66% respondents.
As of the analyzation of data gathered, I converted it to google sheets and did all the filtering and compilation on data.
After presenting all the data. It's I made an action plan.

My take away
I was used to leading in group projects at school and being the person who would have a say wither something that my group mate did was okay. I learned how to be patient getting for approvals. I learned there are tons of things that I can Improve on my work. Getting my supervisor's opinion on my work really helped me improve my presentations and job.
I was also asked to tag along in different meetings which I really enjoyed !
I got to see how my supervisor presented to our partner companies and how she would take on things and analyze it.
.. A Letter to the future interns..
QuadX Inc. has the dream working environment! everyone is really friendly and welcoming. It has a very chill vibe and free space.
If you're looking for a company that will allow you to get a feel of what it's like out in the real world, this is for you! They love getting opinions and ideas from interns because they love having someone see things on a different perspective.

Exchange program
My first university for college was Assumption College which in an all girls catholic school. I was pretty much excelling on everything
academically and some extra curricular such as being part of the student government and actively participating in different sports events and charity works. However, I opt to transfer to another school due to the reason I somehow though the school's teaching technique was too traditional and even we're exposed to different school activities, I wanted to wonder more off beyond school.
After a year, I went on to study in an International College which is Enderun Colleges. Enderun Colleges has a great reputation for building their students careers outside of the Philippines. So 2 semesters went by , I was making a great progress in my new college until they announced an open application for an exchange student program. I took the opportunity to study and live outside of the country to have a clearer vision wether migrating and working in another country in the future was really for me. The duration of the program is 1 semester. I took relevant courses such as Entrepreneurial Behavior, Internet Management, Applications and Understanding
International Relations and Korean languange class. I really enjoyed meeting different exchange students from different countries like Brunei, Canada, USA and China. I learned and validated facts about their culture and beliefs.
My overall experience as an international student really made a huge impact. Ever since that I craved traveling, exploring new cities, discovering new cultures and wondering what other opportunities in different countries had to offer.
During my stay I was able to accomplish the following; explore different cities in the country, visit historical land marks, visit historical museums, experience the lives of the locals, trying their native cuisines and more!
Having experience all these things, It became my motivation to continuously explore and discover new things and experiences.
